Thanks for the suggestions. Mostly ethical except for maybe the fishing line?

I agree with comment below about solar covers not existence a skilful deterrent, our ducks merely country on ours and hang out.

Our local wild fauna carer told the states the chemical agent is not upstanding, im not 100% sure why this is just we opted not to utilize it on their communication.

Plastic snakes, owls etc seem similar a good choice and the pool robot definitely scares them off however they all the same country when it is not operating.

Most importantly if the ducks do settle and nest and ducklings hatch you must have some pontoons prepare in the water next to the pool edge otherwise they cant jump out and they will drown. Too continue your gate to your yard open so they tin walk out when ready to do so.

Terence below feeds the ducks merely doesn't want them hanging effectually?

She stalks the bird feeder and struts around the identify fifty-fifty coming up to my patio door shamelessly begging for nutrient. I cannot empathize why she cannot stay in her natural habitat. Merely enough to requite the snakes a chip of floating play in the deep and middle of the pool. Seems to freak the landing ducks out enough to keep them away.
